Contraindications for Pulsed EMF Therapy

Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy is safe for almost everyone, excluding anyone who is pregnant, has implanted electronic devices, or is actively bleeding.  Please note: PEMF therapy increases blood circulation and the absorption of medications.

Cardiac pacemakers or other electrical implants -if you have a pacemaker, defibrillator, or any type of similar implant do not use PEMF devices as it may cause interference with the electronic device.

Following an organ transplant - PEMF improves blood flow therefore it should not be used post-organ transplant Within 4 days post surgery - PEMF improves blood flow therefore it should not be used within 4 days of surgery During pregnancy - the effects on the fetus are unknown
